A beautiful, matching vintage set of five (5) hand-blown wine goblets in the classic "Baluster" pattern. These were officially licensed reproductions commissioned by the Colonial Williamsburg Restoration Foundation and manufactured by the prestigious Royal Leerdam in the Netherlands (circa late 1960s to 1980s).
Design Highlights:
- Features the elegant, historic 18th-century Georgian style baluster stem with a beautiful ornamental knop.
- Flared, conical bowl with a sturdy applied round foot.
- Beautifully crafted with the signature Royal Leerdam smooth, fire-polished bottom (no rough pontil scar).
Condition:
Very good overall condition. There are no chips, cracks, flea bites, or cloudiness. 3 glasses are in excellent condition with minimal wear. 2 glasses show localized areas of surface scuffing/fine scratching on the bowl. These imperfections are only noticeable under close inspection in the right light. (Note: As these are hand-blown, minor, unique factory variations like tiny embedded air bubbles may be present, which is standard for this type of artisan glassware).
